Second Chance in Life

Second Chance in Life

This blog is not about the second chance, I got in my life. By the way, second chance means that I lost my first chance. This blog is about the incident of losing my first chance.

HSC exam is considered to be the assessment of a student's 12 years education. Yes, I lost the first chance of getting passed on my first attempt. I got failed on my HSC mathematics exam. At that moment of my life I didn’t found the studies as interesting.

So I did no studies, that don't mean I was a dull student. For Information, I got 85% marks at my SSC exams. I didn’t bother about my failure. After I completed my mathematics exam I was pretty sure about me getting failed.

The fun was the way how result was announced. I kept my face is serious and quite ill. It was for the purpose of creating sympathy wave. At that period, the result will be declared first in news paper. If you want to know the results soon, you can call up the news paper company.

I called the paper's company and enquired my result. He told that I got pass. That was quite hard to believe but, I believed considering the inaccuracies happening at the other end. I was quite happy about the result and went to market for purchasing some sweets and chocolates.

In the mean time, my parents called another paper company for confirming the result. They gave the correct result as I got failed. As I entered the home back, my parents informed me about the sad news. I was convinced with the result as I was expecting the same.

In the mood of getting sympathy wave, I kept myself in the old sad posture. At the moment in the television, a song was played. The lyrics of the song are something like this, "Don’t worry be happy. You will get second chance in September if you loose at March"

As the lines were much matched to me, I got urge of smile. But the fact is family members may feel I got mad because of the sad news. So I got inside the rest room and laughed for the song and came back after a while with same sympathy wave creating posture.
